NonCommercial Terms of Service
(Based off the Graphics Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing and Ethical Guidelines)
I retain all artistic and printing rights to the artwork commissioned, and ask that commissioned work not be commercially distributed or publicly printed without credit and explicit written permission. No commissioned works will be reproduced and sold without the consent of the commissioner.
For commissioned work priced above $200, payment plans can be worked out with the commissioner. For work under $200, payment must be made upfront, or when the commission breaches the drafting stage.
If the artwork is finished before final payments are made, the Client will not receive the original paint/drawing or un-watermarked digital image of the commission until final payments are made.
Any and all work completed can be used for display and portfolio purposes unless noted before work has begun. Terms will be decided per job. By retaining my services you are agreeing to these terms.
The Artist reserves the right to reject critique and redline pertaining to artistic skill or style preference (i.e. anatomy, coloring style, etc.) if said critique reduces the artistic quality of the piece.
If the client wishes to cancel their commission during the sketch stage they will be refunded 50% of what they paid.
If the client wishes to cancel their commission during or after the coloring stage they will not be issued a refund.
Only 3 minor revisions are allowed before I require a $10+ fee. This fee is subject to increase upon the nature and complexity of a revision. IE redrawing full character lineart, or repainting a BG.
I work at approx. 11X17in 300px resolution. You receive the final file in full resolution with final payment in whatever format you wish. If you want a hardcopy signed and mailed, we'll work out shipping when your commission is completed.
I reserve the right to reject any commission for any reason.
I cannot ship internationally. If you live outside the US and need something shipped, we'll talk it out.
By ordering mature artwork you agree you are of legal age for your country or state.
I reserve the right to recycle sketches and preparatory works that were rejected by the Client for other commissions or personal works.
The client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms before entering into an agreement with the Artist. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.
